Cville Electric owner, Brad Moore got his start in 1983 working for a small electrical contractor in the Iowa City area.  After training and working on remodel and new building projects he took a maintenance electrician job at the University of Iowa Power Plant in 1990.  At the power plant he gained experience with elecrtic motor controls, water and high pressure steam handling systems, boiler and turbine generator controls, and the electrical and electronic controls that run these systems.  During his time at the Power Plant he was promoted to an Electronic Technician supervisor.

 

In 1996 Brad decided to open his own business- Moore Electrical Service. This business wired many new houses and apartment buildings in the Coralville and Iowa City areas. Rewiring historic homes and working on remodel projects was also a large part of this business.

 

Since starting Cville Clean Power LLC in 2010, Brad and crew have installed wiring for more than 25 solar PV systems.
